- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsI hardly ever cry at films, but John Green adaptations never fail to get to me. There is something so visceral and honest about this movie, and you can truly feel how genuinely everyone involved approached it. It makes you feel like a teenager again in that way that's uncomfortable but romantic - without the over-the-top romanticization of high school that much of Hollywood is so eager to include. It explores emotions and mental health so authentically. I will definitely be rewatching this movie many times. Bravo, John Green and company!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis movie is AMAZING like seriously I LOVE IT. In my opinion Every movie has some type of message to it than can apply to any part of your life and that’s exactly what this film did for me. Standing ovation to the actors/actress and directors yall did that💙
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsOutstanding! Gorgeous movie with fabulous acting and script, and with much meaning! A message of humanity, love, hope and clarity. The writer is outstanding, but the cinematographers did an incredible job and translating the book into an even more beautiful story. I recommend it 100%. Probably my favorite movie of the year!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsi think it was amazing and completely changed my perception on OCD and how the mind works. it’s 100% going to be a rewatch
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI was afraid I wouldn't like the movie because I am not the target age group, I am a fan of the books, and adaptations can be kinda corny, but... I enjoyed this so much. Best movie I've seen in years.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsA really beautiful adaptation of the book!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI cannot express how seen I felt by this movie. Despite not having OCD, I do struggle with mental health and this was a perfect depiction that both left me hopeful and didn't fall into the usual tropes. Stunning movie - entertaining, current and soulful to its core.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAll book readers know that movies never hold up to the books. This movie, however does. Even knowing what happens, I still wasn't emotionally prepared for the climax. Great writing from John Green plus phenomenal acting and directing/producing equals an amazing movie with an incredible and accurate portrayal of mental illness.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsIf you are a kid you might like this movie a lot
