It had potential but was just so slow. I couldn't wait for it to be over.

Fantastic acting. Watching this movie made me realize just what our EMT’s go through. I have all the respect for them now. Also, I can see where some would step over that fine line between being a hero and being a God after so many years of doing that type of work.

The acting was fine, even above average. But the gloom and doom approach has been done before with regards to inner city Ambulance life, and cop life, and ER life. Its been done with war movies, and with movies about surviving a poverety life, or a gang life. And in all that take that approach, the dark grit that never changes and never ends till the film is ovber. Director after director trying to retell us via grit and blood and horror just how hard a given life can be and how much it destroys those who have no choice but to keep going so those of us who dont know will now develop some inner meaning from a movie about lives that have lost all hope or meaning. And someone always doesnt survive these movies, someone always finally succumbs, and someone else carries on. This wasnt an awful movie, but it was gloomy and hopeless and not entertaining or really even particularly thought provoking. It was just dark and gloomy. over and over, till it ended with a single rescue that didnt end entirely in blood and tears. but it was too little too late by then.

Feel good movie of the year. The optimism in this movie is brimming.

Very DISAPPOINTING. Had hopes that seeing what EMT emergency medical technicians/ambulance drivers go through would be extremely interesting. But just a few of the vignettes were so....

Opening scenes paramedic removes a gun shot victims foot wear due to the victim being shot in the foot this is a big no no the foot wear was keeping pressure on the wound pfft Hollywood!! Part from that its dark and gritty start to finish. Think they made a good choice casting Penn instead of Gibson tho im a big Gibson fan.
