I wish they actually portrayed his life more, instead of focusing on the impact he had, a biopic should show his life, how he became Bob Marley. It was decent, the acting was good, the music obviously was good, but the movie could’ve been better for a legend.

Thick and often difficult to understand Patois dialogue for authenticity, yet filmmakers cast a Ben-Adir whose only resemblance to Marley is the fake dreads on his head. Film felt more like a Hollywood film than a sincere biography of Bob Marley, and never dared to really dive into his very-human character flaws.

Bob Marley greatly influenced the world through his music, with a positive message of justice, freedom, and unity, though these beliefs are from his Rastafarian religion. This 2024 film, focusing on the final years of his life, features an excellent performance from Kingsley Ben-Adir as Bob Marley.

Could’ve been better wouldn’t watch again

Solid. It's only a snapshot in time therefore I couldn't give it a high score. For those who are not from the islands and cannot understand what's being said I could see how they would not like the movie. It's a football field long but a half an inch deep and that's the negative. I know the story so I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Enjoyable music but the story is unfocused and as cinema it’s a let down.

Bob Marley: One Love attempts to provide a glimpse into the last few years of the icon's life, albeit a flawed one. Admittedly, I'm not a fan of Marley, so I wasn't particularly invested in it, nor do I know how accurate it is to the true account, and to be honest, this film didn't leave me curious to know more.

Overall exceptional.

I loved this movie. Bob Marley One Love is a great movie that shows about Bob but also the people of Jamaica. It shows how Jamaica suffered and how he suffered. Also like that there wasn’t over the top use of drugs like some would expect. Great movie overall it’s out on paramount plus. Parents let kid above the age of 12 watch it it’s not bad. It’s about the music in his life and the life of others.
