Kapoor, Tabu and Sanon’s easy-breezy comedy washes away the stench of recent Bollywood duds...

Crew should have been a desi version of Bridesmaids meets Oceans 8. And yet the film, about three air hostesses who resort to gold smuggling, never achieves lift off.

The trio have excellent chemistry with each other, and make you want to root for them even in the bleakest of situations.

Despite its casting coup, Crew commits the cardinal sin: it forgets to have fun.



Crew is the kind of film that is built on several tiny radical acts, culminating into two hours that are equally rewarding and joyous. It is the most fun three women have had in Hindi cinema in a very long time.

The didacticism comes out of nowhere and is proof that the makers of Crew are blind to how radical it actually is to show women being friends who support one another...

It is indeed an art to deliver a serious message with a hilarious tone.

The reality of what Crew is hurts more than the empty hope of what it isn't.

[It] keeps things funny throughout, making you wish it lasted longer...

The men in the film, be they Diljit Dosanjh, Kapil Sharma, Rajesh Sharma or even Saswata Chatterjee, know that the limelight for once is not on them and gamely stand back. We need more such secure male co-stars for sure.
