It was really beautiful movie. Reminds me of Rye Lane. I like movies that pay more attention to the visuals and aesthetic of the movie with a romance in it.

Considering this is Randy Mancuso's directorial debut, I'll won't be too harsh. There is definitely enough to appreciate, such as the creative concept, the visual style, and the shedding of a light on Brazillian-American culture which rarely seen in Western films. However, I found the main character to be rather unlikeable, the humour calls flat, the central love triangle is very predictable and quite a few characters feel underdeveloped. Camila Mendes is also sort of wasted in her role. All in all, I'd say that Música is a film I expected a little more from, but didn't necessarily hate. I'll probably never watch it again though.

Beautiful movie! Rudy uses a lot of the ideas he posted previously on this YouTube channel. I still think he is a better musician than an actor

Interesting. Almost really good. As a romantic movie, it was flawed for me as an American because you didn't get your happy ending romance-wise. If you look at the movie other ways, why was his puppet act so bad early on. Did he lack all writing talent until he had an amusing true story to mirror. I guess he blew it with the fishmonger through character flaws of not taking action related to his odd mental health which raises all sorts of questions depending upon how you look at it.

I'm glad Rudy Mancuso was able to accomplish this. I've been keeping up with his YouTube content from afar for some time, and it's clear to me that he's brimming with creativity. I always knew he was capable of bringing a full-length production to life. "Música" is a pretty enjoyable passion project. The set designs are so imaginative and immersive. The music is very animated and lively. The script has a comical undertone that just sucks you into the mind of the main character, and it mostly works. It makes for an entertaining film. However, the movie's shortcomings are a bit apparent in its inability to thoroughly flesh out the story. It offers fragments that hint at a complete narrative, yet lacks the depth needed for a fully rounded tale. While the story has a complete "arc", it doesn't necessarily convey the depth of the various elements in this story. It often feels like we're passive observers, seldom actively engaging in this character's journey. But, by all means, see this movie. It's a unique, colourful experience with a couple of fresh ideas and enjoyable performances. It has a ton of funny moments too.

For the Rudy Mancuso followers this movie is great, and for the no followers too

I have loved Rudy Mancuso since I was a child, I follow him and it's really nice to see him being recognised by the industry. However, o would love to see another side of Rudy, which it bought I was going to see in this movie. Somehow it seems a little bit the same of what he has shared with his audience and personally, I believe he has a lot more to offer. An enjoyable movie, filled with Rudy's amazing humour and skills but with room for more.

Rudy Mancuso's Música really shows how far he has come as a music artist and his ability to direct something unique. It could potentially be compared to other rom-com movies, but with Rudy's style of music, it really adds a nice touch to the movie. His talent in music had already been demonstrated in his earlier projects on YouTube and Vine, but this movie really brought the best out of Rudy. The little nods to his old projects from Diego, his puppet, to the subtle background music from his songs really add a nice touch to the movie. Camila Mendes' chemistry on screen with Rudy is really nice to watch, and the Latino representation is something special. Congratulations to him on his directional debut, and I'm excited to see what he brings next!

"Música" is a charming movie that feels authentic. The movie does hit familiar beats in some ways but is unique because of the way it is put together. The main character in this movie makes a few mistakes, and I feel he goes through a complete arc where he learns valuable lessons. I do really have a soft spot for coming-of-age movies, and I feel like this movie has that energy but for older characters which felt refreshing. Overall, it is a short and sweet movie that is coming from a genuine place, and it left me feeling optimistic about the future which is always a great feeling to get out of a movie.

Film is boring, slow and odd. It thinks it's a witty movie that is deep. Reality is that it is just a movie and a boring movie at that.
