One of A24’s best. Julio and Tilda are perfect together 💙

Lovely story and well told. Great cast and a unique script. Enjoyed thoroughly from start to finish.

What was supposed to be a comedy ends up being an annoying movie. The ambience and colors are beautiful, the story is simple, but the development turns everything into a pretentious movie with unnecessary allegories and exaggerated performances, we have a protagonist without expression and another protagonist extremely exaggerated, the tones of voice chosen for each are annoying to hear. A difficult movie to finish.

Not as unique or imaginative as I expected. How are texting Cabbage Patch Kids an idea worth stealing?

So boring. I can't understand how this movie has the rating(s) it has. The protagonist is really walking like a 'pelotudo'. My god.

Problemista is a 2023 (released theatrically in 2024) American surrealist comedy film written, directed, and produced by Julio Torres 🥚 It’s very good! 😀 I’d recommend it 👍🏼 A quirky but enjoyable comedy in which Swimton steals the show in every scene… Alejandro is an aspiring toy designer from El Salvador, struggling to bring his unusual ideas to life in New York City. As time on his work visa runs out, a job assisting an erratic art-world outcast becomes his only hope to stay in the country and realize his dream.

I did not expect to like this movie, however it is bizarre and artsy in the best way and by the end, really resonated with me emotionally

I liked the many messages of hope this film gave my family and I. I took my mom and brothers to see it because I knew it mentioned El Salvador. It is so important we support our talent. We are rooting for our bichito, Julio!
