The American Society of Magical Negroes

This was not good at all. The American Society of Magical Negroes was not a good film by any means necessary. The plot was absolutely all over the place and the casting was not good. I wanted to enjoy this film so much because I when I had first heard about it I thought it was going to be original. I could not have been completely more off base here. Just thinking about the film now I can't see really any redeemable qualities here. I can now see why this movie was pulled early from theaters and put on streaming. Trust me there are a lot more better films out there and this is not one of them. The American Society of Magical Negroes gets a very low 1 star out of 5.

What started as an interesting story becomes pure nonsense. I think a half hour sit com could have handled it better.

Absolutely abysmal. Just wretched all around. Everyone involved with this “film” needs to apologize.

I always enjoy a good movie that provides good humor and a good story... I was still waiting for all three after the credits.

Despite the promising plot, it shredded in several plots that make the film pointless. If they just focus in one few things, they would have had a result close to what American Fiction accomplished.

This movie was excellent! It should have been winning Awards.
