    Following in the vein of 28 Days Later and it's seque...( read more)l, Evilution is a much weaker form of those two films. It also threw in some elements of Rec., where the people and zombies are holed up in a building.

    Here we have a microscopic alien life form that can resurrect the dead and possess them. One lone scientist steals the last specimen in a little vial from the U.S. Army, so he can study it and reverse the process. When a local tenant is mortally wounded, he uses some of the liquid specimen to try and cure him. Obviously, it didn't work. One by one, the tenants in the building he is hiding out in are being possessed by the life form and turning into flesh-eating zombies. This is what happens when you try and play hero.

    It's obvious they're running out of ideas for zombie films, but I think they could of came up with a better one than a flesh-eating alien parasite. It just doesn't have that creepy factor like a zombie film is supposed to have. Even the characters come off as idiotic. There's something about the "gangsta" them in a horror film that doesn't seem right. It just throws the whole thing off for me. I do give this film one thing, though, the adding of the beautiful Sandra Ramirez. I wouldn't mind seeing more roles from her.

    Simple story about cop thriller in murderer investigation ev...( read more)ent!! But Norman Jewison made this film with good morality inside of it, showed a racism at that era. Fantastic collaboration from Poitier and Steiger. This film is classic masterpiece ever made!!

Ray Liotta studied acting at the University of Miami, where he be...( read more)came friends with Steven Bauer (_Scarface (1988)_ , Thief of Hearts (1984)). He spent his first years acting in TV: "Another World" (1964), a TV movie, several short-lived series. He broke into movies with the black comedy, Something Wild (1986), which garnered him rave reviews. Originally unable to get a reading, he was recommended for the part by Melanie Griffith (then married to Steven Bauer). He immediatly received offers to reprise his psycho role but refused them to avoid being typecast. Instead, he made the "little movies", Dominick and Eugene (1988) (which earned him standing as an actor's actor) and Field of Dreams (1989) (whose success still surprises him). When he heard Martin Scorsese was casting _GoodFellas, he lobbied hard for the part of Henry Hill. The films success brought him wide popularity and lead billing in future films (Article 99, Unlawful Entry, Unforgettable).
