dear mr. arkin,
i am afraid to write you, afraid of a culture that makes celebrity and entertainment more important than it should be and so i cannot say to you how nice it is having you around.
i come to flixster, a movie.com fansite and am surprized that after a lifetime of achievement, of being there, that there is little spoken---by fans, mind you---of your considerable contributions. i cannot speak for the rest here on these pages, but for myself:
i hated you as that creep trying to kill audrey hepburn, and she was blind, f'heavensakes! i really thought you were really russian when your sub landed on american shores and concluded diplomatically right there and then that the russkies weren't as bad as our government claimed. i just recently saw you as the head of a secret spy agency a coupla weeks ago and, as always, you were very likeable. but my strongest memory of you is when you helplessly tried to revive garfunkel in a plane...anyway, thank you sir, for everything.posted 500 days ago -
