Thought I should share my opinion with you, so here it goes:
I consider that judging the way somebody plays a part is quite subjective. We live in this subjective world with abstract notions like good and bad and categorize them through our subjectivity . But in order to see the true essence of things, one must refer to some standards. I consider myself as being an objective person and with all my objectivity I can claim that Alan Rickman is the greatest actor.When you watch one of Mr. Rickman's movies, you don't watch Alan Rickman playing that part, you watch the character and at some point you loose contact with reality. The story and the characters simply drag you into their world. And the quality of the movie doesn't affect his performance. I've watched movies which I could barely stand,in order to see a great actor at work.
I don't think there is the need of speaking of his physical traits.(handsome8->)

This man is sexy. He ages like fine wine. lol. But seriously he is a very talented actor and people are right he can sing. I'm also a sucker for HP and I cannot wait for the 6th movie to come. And like everyone else thats a fan of this sexy beast would love to meet him too. LMAO.
