 Amanda Bynes Mini Bio:Bynes appeared in several successful television series on Nickelodeon in the late 1990s and early 2000s including Figure It Out, All That, and The Amanda Show. She later starred in the WB Network's sitcom What I Like About You with Jennie Garth. Her film credits include Big Fat Liar, What a Girl Wants, She's The Man, and a role in the upcoming Hairspray adaptation. Personal life: Bynes graduated from Thousand Oaks High School's independent study program (though she attended La Reina High School in Thousand Oaks for some time) and has expressed a desire to attend New York University in the near future. She briefly moved into an apartment in Hollywood, California, but has since returned to her family home. Bynes is interested in drawing (She once painted a portrait of David Letterman as a gift to him.) and fashion design, having commented that she is "the girl whose biggest nightmare would be to lose my makeup bag while traveling." In 2007 she spoke out against becoming another wild Hollywood star. "I think I'll go out as much as I've ever gone out... which is not a lot. I like to dance and stuff, but drinking isn't good for you in every way. It's not good for your skin; it makes you feel horrible. So, drinking-wise, no". She reinforced these ideas throughout the summer of 2007, on the talk show circuit, and in many press interviews. She told Access Hollywood, "I like being with my family and friends, and I don't need to be out at the clubs."  Amanda Bynes had been nominated for an award 3 times in 2 succeding years for her Nickelodeon Comedy TV Series, "The Amanda Show" (1999). Twice in 2000, for a YoungStar Award for the Best Young Actress/Performance in a Comedy TV Series, and for the Young Artist Award for the Best Performance in a TV Comedy Series. In 2001 she had again been nominated for the Young Artist Award but had lost the title to Christy Carlson Romano of the TV show "Even Stevens" (2000).In 2002 Amanda got two nominations for her role in the movie "Big Fat Liar"(2002). She received a nomination for the Young Artist Award, Best in Performance in a Feature Film as the Leading Young Actress and from Nickelodeons Teen Choice Award for Film Choice Chemistry, on the same movie. Amanda has received a total of 7 Blimp Awards since 2000. She had won the Kids Choice Awards for 5 years in a row.
