Amanda Bynes biography: Amanda Laura Bynes was the youngest of three children born to Rick and Lyn. She has a sister, Jillian, brother Tommy, and a niece named Jaylyn. Amanda was born on April 3, 1986 in Thousand Oaks, CA. Her father is a dentist and her mother works in Rick's dental office.
Amanda's acting career began when she got a role on Nickelodeon's "All That" in 1994. As she has an outgoing personality, she was a hit immediately. At the age of 13, she as given her own variety show on Nickelodeon called "The Amanda Show." She was blown away by the fact that she was given such an honor at such a young age. The Amanda show ended it's run after two successful years.
Amanda moved on to television and films in 2002. She has starred in movies such as: "Big Fat Liar" (2002) opposite best friend, Frankie Muniz; "What a Girl Wants" (2003) with Colin Firth and Kelly Preston; "She's The Man" in 2006, "Hairspray" and "Sydney White" in 2007. She also played Holly Tyler in the television series "What I Like About You."
Amanda graduated from Thousand Oaks high school in 2004.
