The Craft, directed and co-written by Mr. Fleming, followed two years later. The supernatural thriller starred Neve Campbell, Rachel True, Fairuza Balk, and Robin Tunney. The latter two actresses shared a MTV Movie Award for Best Fight.



He paired two more actresses, Kirsten Dunst and Michelle Williams, for Dick; Mr. Fleming directed and co-wrote the comedic riff on the Watergate scandal. The picture was a Golden Satellite Award nominee for Best Picture [Comedy/Musical]. His next films as director were the espionage comedy The In-Laws, starring Michael Douglas and Albert Brooks; and the teen detective tale Nancy Drew, starring Emma Roberts, which he also co-wrote.



Mr. Fleming has also directed episodes of the television series Grosse Pointe and Arrested Development, among others. His first collaboration with Hamlet 2 co-screenwriter Pam Brady was on Paranormal Girl, a telefilm pilot that they co-wrote and that he directed and executive-produced; the supernatural comedy/drama starred Sasha Barrese.
