Bonnie Wright mini-bio: She was born in London, England to Gary Wright and Sheila Teague Wright. Bonnie Wright was originally cast as Ginny Weasley for a small scene in the first Harry Potter movie in 2001, Her role became more prominent with the second movie, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets in 2002, in which her character begins studies at Hogwarts while dealing with a very powerful secret diary that begins to seize her soul and consciousness. She had roles in both Harry Potter and the Prisioner of Azkaban and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. She confirmed at the London premiere of Goblet of Fire that she would be returning for the fifth film, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix due for release in 2007. Wright has also starred in two television movies: 2002's Stranded and 2004's Agatha Christie: A Life in Pictures
