Fun facts/trivia:Hugh Jackman took cold showers to help him create the character Wolverine's trademark "berserk rage.

Bryan Singer had one of his stunt men, Scott Leva, dress in a Spider-Man suit and confront actors James Marsden (Cyclops), Famke Janssen (Jean Grey), and Halle Berry (Storm) on set one day as a joke. Leva had actually dressed up in an identical Spider-Man costume once before for Marvel Comics in 1985 for the cover of "The Amazing Spider-Man" comic book, issue #262. In the outtake, Spider-Man realizes that he's in the wrong movie, backs off and runs away, with Cyclops chasing after him shortly after. This can be seen as an "Easter Egg" on the first DVD edition of the movie, but not the "X-Men 1.5" DVD.

Bryan Singer wrote the diologue between Wolverine and Cyclops when Cyclops refers to 'yellow spandex' specifically to have a dig at fans on the Internet who complained about the X-Men's costumes.

Fun facts/trivia:Actor Gabriel Byrne, when asked at a film festival, "Who is Keyser Soze?" replied, "During shooting and until watching the film tonight, I thought I was!"

In the movie, Kevin Spacey's character explains that his nickname is "Verbal" because he talks too much. In the DVD commentary, Bryan Singer points out that the nickname is a clue, since Keyser Soze is said to have a German mother and a Turkish father. According to Singer, in a mix of German and Turkish, "Keyser Soze" can be roughly translated as "King Blabbermouth."

When Redfoot flicks his cigarette into the face of McManus, it was originally intended to hit his chest, so McManus' reaction is actually Stephen Baldwin's real unscripted reaction that Bryan Singer decided to keep in the movie.
Character Quotes & Catchphrases
[Keaton is introducing quiet Verbal to the other suspects in the cell]
Keaton: His name is Verbal. Verbal Kint.
McManus: Verbal?
Keaton: Yeah.
Verbal: Roger, really. People say I talk too much.
Hockney: Yeah, I was just gonna tell you to shut up.

Keaton: This whole thing was a shakedown.
McManus: What makes you say that?
Keaton: How many times you been in a lineup? It's always you and four dummies. PD pays homeless guys ten bucks a head sometimes.

Keaton: [after finding Fenster's body] It's not payback! It's precaution. You want payback? You wanna run? I don't care! I'm not doing this for Fenster, I'm not doing it for you... I'm doing it for me. I'm gonna finish this thing. This Kobayashi bastard is not gonna stand on me!
