Cam Gigandet

Cam Joslin Gigandet (pronounced Gi-gon-day) was born August 16, 1982. The Tacoma, Washington native got his start appearing on hit television series such as The Young and the Restless and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. In 2005, he earned his breakout status by winning the role of bad boy Kevin Volchok in the popular television series The O.C.

He also starred in the movies "Who's your Caddy?", "Never Back Down", and one of his most well known movie "Twilight", playing the bad vampire James. His most recent role was in the horror movie "The Unborn". In 2008, Gigandet was honored with several awards, including the "One to Watch" award received at the 10th Annual Young Hollywood Awards. He also shares a MTV Movie Award with co-star Sean Faris for "Best Fight" from the movie Never Back Down. He also played as bad guy James in the recent, very popular movie, "Twilight". His latest accomplishment is the "Rising Male Star of the Year" award, given to him by Home Entertainment.

His upcoming movies include, Five Star Day, Making Change, Pandorum, Kerosene Cowboys, Kid Cannabis and Pinkville.

Cam and his girlfriend Dominique Geisendorff, welcomed daughter Everleigh Ray Gigandet on April 14, 2009. Cam will star alongside Christina Aguilera andCher in Aguilera's film debut Burlesque, which will begin filming in November 2009.
