Christopher Reeve made me believe that a man can fly when i first watched superman as a kid.He ´s Superman not only in the movie but in the real life.I´ll never forget you.

He is Superman. Nuff said!

Hello lavanderrose! I share the same sentiments=) I was only 5 or 6 yrs old then and would you believe that I actually thought that the Daily Planet was real and I wanted to be a journalist because I was so sure that I would meet Clark Kent there (Clark's my favorite)! Yes, like you, I also miss Christopher Reeve for he is my Superman=)Thank God for Bryan Singer and Brandon Routh for bringing him back to us who has nearly forgotten him.

Goodness, I never knew a childhood adoration could come back and haunt me... until Superman Returned last summer. I saw the DVD's at Walmart of Superman I and II for less than $6 each and figured, "what the heck, I might as well get the mood going for Superman Returns and refresh my memory on some stuff..." This was only days before I saw the sneak preview and I thought I'd revisit some childhood memories. I watched the DVD's the night before, and it all came back! It was like I slept for 20 years and then awakened to find out my beloved had passed away 2 years ago. I even wrote 2 poems for Christopher Reeve and I have the audio books of "Still Me" and "Nothing is Impossible." My heart still aches for him whenever I watch Superman II, my favorite of the Superman movies. If you're interested in reading the poems, just drop me a line.

More then just the Man of Steel, but a truly Heric Man, that faced adversity with great courage and grace.
