 | Claudia Black was born October 11, 1972, although the year was never officially released. She spent part of her life in New Zealand and Europe, especially in London. She could be seen in several plays such as:
In 1990 she was a finalist of the Globe Shakespeare Competition. In Australia and New Zealand, Claudia became famous when she appeared in several TV series. She played a main character in City Life and a recurring character in A Country Practice. Guest appearances in the TV series such as G. P., Police Rescue, Seven Deadly Sins, Good Guys Bad Guys, Water Rats and Beastmaster made her more famous. She also had a two episode part in Hercules - The Legendary Journeys. Claudia became internationally known for her role as Aeryn Sun in the sci-fi series |
| Farscape by Jim Henson Production. For her role as Aeryn Sun, Claudia won a Saturn Award for Best Actress in 2005. Her only two big screen appearances were a short appearance in the science fiction thriller Pitch Black in 2000 and as Pandora in Queen Of The Damned in 2002, a sequel to Interview With the Vampire. Unfortunately, almost all her scenes ended up on the cutting room floor and she only had one line. For the sake of filming the mini-series Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars, Claudia postponed her honeymoon. She was married in 2004 and spent her two month honeymoon in Italy. She gave birth to a baby boy in December 2005 and another in November 2007. Her pregnancy was written into a story arc of Stargate SG-1 in late season 9. She was a regular in season 10, a recurring character in season 9, and was in one episode of season 8. She once again co-stared with Ben Browder from her Farscape days. | |

I love Claudia Black! she's such an amazing actress and i love her work and especially Farscape and Stargate SG1, michael and claudia have such good chemistry which is really lovely to watch and laugh. :)

hey i figure your probably to busy to read these but what the hey it's worth a shot. I think you are a amazing zctor you seem to have a nack for it. But you are also you preety. But I respect the fact that you have a family but you still find the time to act and have a family life i respect that. you can really tell how great she is of an actress when you compare her two big roles. Aeryn and Vala are so diffrent it's hard to believe it's really claudia.
