Best movies: Claudia had a small but memorable role in Pitch Black starring Vin Diesel. She also starred in the award winning, fan favourite Farscape mini-series Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars; and two direct-to-DVD Stargate SG-1 movies.

Best TV: Claudia played the lead female character in the multiple award winning and Emmy nominated Farscape for 4 years, and the mini-series that followed.

Claudia Black Relationships

Family: Married her husband Jamie in 2004. They met New Year's Eve 2001, and got engaged New Year's Eve 2002. Claudia actually postponed their wedding in order to film Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars.

Claudia's prenancy with her first son was written in Stargate SG-1 in season 9. She was seen pregnant in the episode "Crusade". Her son Odin was born November 2005.
She was in early stages of pregnancy during the filming of the Stargate movies. Her second son Viggo was born December of 2007.

Claudia has a sister Georgina, and her parents, who are both doctors.

Frequent collaborator(s): Claudia has worked with Ben Browder in both Farscape and Stargate SG-1.

Fun Facts About Claudia Black

Claudia sings and plays guitar for jazz and classical music.
Enjoys yoga and rollerblading.
Some of her favourite foods are pasta and chocolate.
She made her first appearances on both Farscape and Stargate SG-1 wearing a black, bulky military uniform. In both cases, the main lead of the episodes, Ben Browder and Michael Shanks who are considered to look very much alike and are the subject of many jokes, first thought she was a man and soon after discovering she was not, were physically assaulted by her.

Claudia Black's Upcoming Projects

A 10-part Farscape webseries has been confirmed. Although no cast has been announced.
She did voice work for an animated film called Rango set to release 2011, also featuring the voice of Johnny Depp and directed by Gore Verbinski.
