Dana or Stace as friends and family call her is also well know as a costume maker for film and television. An expert with a sewing machine Dana (Stace) cranks out character costumes at an alarming rate.

Barron is also featured in a weekly fiction based blog series by famed blogger Samantha Anders which features some of Dana's work with children's fire safety. Dana, along side McGruff the crime dog, ex husband Tom Schmeck, and well known internet guitar guru Jeff Fiorentino has produced more than 200 fire safety film strips for public schools according to various websites. The 4 have won 3 award for their work to date.

It's worth noting that Barron takes fire safety very seriously and has even reportedly dressed up as Fire for a recent Halloween costume.
