goodgrlviahell, I didn't say directors cast people on their looks, I said HE was cast on his looks alone!! Have you seen the philosopher's stone. He was hired for the fact that he resembled the majority's perception of Harry Potter. He was terrible. If the best play he could get was Equus, which is a pretty intriguing book, but the film adaptation was weird, then he must've been desperate seeing as he'd have to be naked on horseback and be sexually attracted to horses!! I'm sorry, but it's just my opinion. Of course I respect the opinions of others, so i'll leave it at that.

Daniel Radcliffe does stage as well as screen acting... for someone who can't act thats pretty good...,hes a brilliant actor.. and totally hot..if only i was 9 years younger

This boy CANNOT act. He was picked for the role of Harry Potter based on looks alone, not acting ability, making this the highest profile to not be cast on acting prowess. All you have to do is look at his film schedule barring the potter films and his limited backlog. No-one wants to hire him for films. I thought he would at least inprove his acting as the sequels were released, but no, he's still terrible. Now Rupert grint - he's worthy of being called an actor.
