Denise Richards mini-bio: Denise Richards was a model-turned-actress when she got her breakthrough role as fresh-faced heartthrob Carmen Ibanez in the sci-fi film Starship Troopers (1997, based on the Robert A. Heinlein book). She then shared a much-talked-about kiss with Neve Campbell in Wild Things (1998) and played Dr. Christmas Jones opposite Pierce Brosnan in the James Bond movie The World Is Not Enough (1999). Though her career seemed to stall after the turn of the century, Richards has kept in the public eye thanks to her on-again, off-again relationship with actor Charlie Sheen. Her other film roles include Undercover Brother (2002, with Dave Chappelle), Love Actually (2003, starring Hugh Grant), Scary Movie 3 (2003, with Pamela Anderson), and Edmond (2005, with William H. Macy).
