for his role in the movie adaptations of "Lord of the Rings". Before that,
he became known in England for his role in the British television drama

Drama and Geography at Sixth Form College when he was offered the
co-starring role in the series, which ran for four seasons. His other television

He frequently returns to his hometown of Manchester, England. Monaghan is
a nature lover, and has been active on the planting of trees, cacti and the
pod-seeds. He owns a small forest on India, and has work for PETA (who
protects animals). He narrated a documental called: Ringers: Lord of the
Ring Fans. He was dating Evangeline Lilly (from Lost), but they broke up.

They were seen togheter on an Argentine pilot called CQC and on
Vegas with his parents (recently). He is currently working on a script
with his co-star of LOTR, Billy. He is Bradley Bolt on X MEN ORIGINS
WOLVERINE, which is now on theaters near you. His character as he
said on many interviews, has some sort of electric powers, he can
control electricity. His next proyect is a movie called PET (a terror flick).
He is part of the new ABC series FLASHFORWARD, where he plays
the character Simon (made his debut on episode 4, BLACK SWAN).

Dom also will be part of some new episodes of Desperate Housewives,
as Andy Britt.
