Hendrix has appeared on the television series Joan of Arcadia as well as the remake of The Parent Trap, Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion, Superstar, the movie version of Inspector Gadget — Inspector Gadget 2 (She will reprise her role as G2 in the third Gadget movie) as well as in What the Bleep Do We Know!?. Her most known role is in The Parent Trap, where she played the twin girls' nemesis. Hendrix actually screamed the high pitch that her character Meredith shrieked on the lake. Many people confuse her with Missi Pyle and vice versa. Currently, in Los Angeles, Hendrix is involved with humanitarian efforts; cancer research, environment and children.

    omg!! elaine hendrix is so awesome in parent trap!!
    i saw her at the baja california film festival at Tijuana, she was awesome, she gave out autographs and took pictures with fans, she was so sweet and accesible, i added her on myspace and she even posts me comments
