He´s the Greatest child actor by excellence, because not only did he make good movies as a child, but he also grew up to become one of the finest actors ever. He´s done so MANY movies and characters; the last ones I can recall are Hooligans and Sin City (two totally different roles), but I remember seeing him since "Forever Young" with Mel Gibson, and next year he made "The good son" with Macauly Culkin... We all can tell who ended up being the most successful...

And remember "Back to the future II"?? He was one of the kids from the video games!!!

Oliver Twist, Deep Impact (with that awful Leelee Sobieski!), Radio flyer, Black and white, Flipper, and my personal favorite, Eternal sunshine of a spotless mind...
He´s done them all!!!
And all the awards!!!!

Of course we all know he was the most important character (though perhaps not the braviest) in The Lord of the Rings, and his performance was simply FLAWLESS.
