Very captivating actor. I was drawn by the subtle facial reactions and strong deliverance in his role as Sirius Black in the Harry Potter series, and later in the new Batman films. I look forward to seeing Mr. Oldman in more films.

He's a method actor. You see him in a film and will not recognize him in the next. I loved him in The Fifth Element and The Professional but watch the Scarlett Letter with Demi Moore you'll be surprised.

Were there ever an actor whose skill I would wish to aspire to, it would have to be Gary Oldman. The man is a f***ing chameleon. More praise should be heaped upon his name.

Never thought that someone in Harry potter could be thought of as sexy without sounding perverse in some way,however,Gary Oldman is just that...SEXY!! Even my 23 year old daughter was wowed by his appearance in the last film. Weird to think someone my age would be star struck but this guy is definitely the one to do it!! Thank You Mr. Oldman for sharing your awesome talent with your neighbors across the pond!

Wow, I had no idea he played in Harry Potter, I haven't gotten past the 2nd movie...*sigh* I have to follow his career. I just saw The Fifth Element and was blown away by his acting...good job!

One of my all time favs...no one could play Dracula as good as he did!! True, Great Character Actor!! Love his Style!!

I cried when I saw Sirius die in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Gary did an excellent job portraying Harry's godfather in those three HP movies.

But to be completely honest I think Gary's best ever role has definitely been as Sid Vicious in Sid & Nancy. Not just because I love everything about Sid Vicious and his life but because Gary brought such an intriguing presence to the screen. It was quite haunting to see someone go through so much in such a short lifetime.

R.I.P Sid.
And thank you to Gary Oldman for bringing your acting gift to such great movies.
