Gene Kelly mini-bio: Gene Kelly first gained famed on Broadway, starring in Rodgers and Hart's landmark musical "Pal Joey" in 1940 before heading to Hollywood and making his debut opposite Judy Garland in "For Me and My Gal" in 1942. He is best known for his musical roles, in trademark films like "Singin' in the Rain," "On the Town," and "An American in Paris," but he made impressive turns in a few "straight" roles, including one in 1960's "Inherit the Wind." He died of complications from multiple strokes on February 2, 1996, at the age of 83.

I absolutely adore Gene Kelly! Forget Brad Pitt or George Clooney, good looking they are...but no comparison to this BEAUTIFUL man! A mere tragedy he is no longer around. I would have loved to have lived back in his time. Musical's in my opinion just aren't the same anymore.

Gene Kelly, undoubtedly, has to be the sexiest man who ever lived. I would give anything to see him ressurected. Great actor, singer, dancer, choreographer, and director. You will forever live in our memory Gene.
