Ribisi was born in Los Angeles, California. His mother, Gay (born Landrum), is a manager of actors and writers, and his father, Albert Anthony Ribisi, is a musician. He is the twin brother of actress Marissa Ribisi, and the brother of Gina Ribisi, a voice actress. Ribisi's paternal grandfather was the son of farmers from Sicily.

I've just noticed him in reruns of The Wonder Years, I was like, thats the guy from My Name Is Earl & Phoebe's brother on Friends, but I couldn't work out his name, great actor, plays a straight role or a goofy stoner well

I do remember the first time that I've seen Giovanni, he was on "Married with Children" play one of Bud Bundy's friends. Whoever knew that this cutie pie would blow-up like this and if you have seen "Perfect Stranger" with my girl Halle Berry in it. That man has a body out this world.
