I've always liked him. In the omen, westerns.

Growing up with Gregory Peck movies help teach me people are intrinsically good. He is so powerful in moral roles, you just believe this was Gregory's nature; being ethical, morally sound and a beacon of goodness just seem so much his reality and I think it was. He also did some awful & harden characters and then you go, thats wonderful acting becuase you see this face you liked so much is now a horrendeous creature. And you are reminded, he is excellent at his vocation-acting. Peck is an indelible part of my growth: I saw my Dad in him and my Mother loving his roles. He remains an epitome of great acting, a man with much to give& said it in his work. Thru this work, he has brought much to the mind and soul for me-what would I have done, would I have come to that conclusion, how far would I go?? Because he took on roles that required a lot of depth and dynamics, I believe he taught me how to be a better person, more steadfast in morality & profound goodness, no matter what the plight.

He came from an era where it was ok to look up to actors as role models. Gregory Peck truly stands out as one of the most self-less, modest human beings that ever lived on this planet.

He did live a long, illustrious life. It may sound very selfish of myself when I say I wish he was still around (even after the fact) because it seemed like there was a little bit of wisdom in the world with Gregory Peck alive. Of course I make reference to his immortal portrayal of Atticus Finch whom I feel is like a second father in my life.

Eldred "Gregory" Peck may be gone but he left us with his work that every human being alive wishes they could leave behind...and that was a timeless legacy. Can't say enough good things about him.

I totally agree! I have never seen him give a bad performance and I have never heard even the slightest hint of scandal about him - not like most actors today!

He was what a Hollywood actor should be. Smoldering looks, extremely talented and always a gentleman, the guy you rooted for.
