Hakki Subentekin was born in Istanbul. At the age of 14 he began an acting career. While at the New Jersey City University Media Arts&Film Dept.he shot his first film"The other life" and an award winning film "Rising Sun"in 16 mm. He is a graduate of New York,St.Francis College Communication Arts&Film Department and is currently producing&directing TV programs for New York TV channels.
