Tim Burton might have not directed these well liked claymation films, but what he produced for these films, was his own atmosphere which made the movies what they are now. But yea, we shouldn't neglect Henry Selick's contribution, for he was the eyes and hears of this surreal world, and without him, it wouldn't have happened. Indeed most of the movies he directed he was so in them in the production, you could say that these surreal worlds are, for the most part, of his own creation as well.

Its a shame that most people think Burton Directed The nighmare before christmas

amazing!!....directed the greatest movie of all time (The Nightmare Before Christmas)...he totally understood how to take Tim Burton's vision and turn it into a masterpiece...well done!
