    Ian McKellen is one of the most versatile actors I have seen in the movies. I of course loved him as Gandalf in Lord of the Rings which also by the way is one of my favorite series.
    Mr McKellen is also a brave man who asserts himself in who he is and does not apologize. I remember I saw him on television in the Oscars with his young lover at the time holding hands in front of the camera. Touche! Ian McKellen one of my positive role models I've come across in film.
