Janine Turner mini-bio: Janine Turner grew up on the stage, studying ballet, tap and modeling from a very young age. As a teenager she moved to New York with her mother and attended the New York's Professional Children's School and started modeling professionally at the age of 15. At 17 she made her way to Hollywood and got a gig on the soap opera "General Hospital". But it was her role on the eccentric show "Northern Exposure" that has truly made her a household name.
