A very charming and handsome actor but tends to come in similar movies like The Transporter, Crank, The Bank Job etc. I think he's capable of doing a comedy but it might ruin his image. I mean, he was hilarious in Crank. He could try to do a Thriller or a Drama though.

Then will star with academy award nommie Joan Allen and Golden Globe winner Ian McShane in Paul Andersons remake film Death Race. But Statham appeas to be more than an action hero, hes a very capable actor of any genre. even thow es experimenting in action films i belive he will bring on possiable award worthy roles in the future but in the meantime he will be in the works with Crank 2: high voltage, The Transporter 3 and eventually The Brazilian job. Hes also looking into making a remake to The Crow and scheduled to work with Russel Crowe in one of Martian Scoreccesse's upcoming films. Good luck Statham, best of luck in the future.

Jason Statham is a great actor, he has in a short time become a popular name in north america. Succeeding in popular action flicks like the transpoer, transporter 2, Crank and The Italian job. Also turning in a explosive performance in the indie drama flick with chris evans, London. The limited release Caos with Ryan Phillipee and Wesley Snipes, which showed a thriller with brains and not a martial arts standoff between Snipes and Statham. Jason delivered a tour-de-force performance in his old friend Director Guy Ritchies noir masterpiece Revolver. I thought he succeded well showing an action character with emotion in the revenge/action flick War with Jet Li, It merely showed off more of his capable stat power. This year he traded his guns and race cars for a sword and horse in Director Uwe Bowells In The Name Of The King, Bowell is possiably the worst director in Hollywood, he kept Statham from delivering anything remotely speacial to his performance in the film, but he delivered alot
