J.D. Fortune mini-bio: Jason Dean Fortune, or better known as JD Fortune from Rockstar INXS is a much talented rocker. He was born on the 1st of September, 1973 in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada and being the product of a troubled family, his parents had divorced at a time when he was still young. He was known as Jason dean Benninson when he was younger but soon changed it to Jason Dean Fortune to follow his mother's path. Before entering the competition, he worked as an Elvis impersonator where he would sing Elvis's songs in a night club and he also has a black belt in Taekwondo. When he got into the competition, he wanted to use the name Jason Fortune but sadly, there was another rocker that had already used the name. Being a lead singer of INXS has definitely changed his life as he was staying in a car before he got into the competition. An INXS fan to an INXS lead, how good could that be?

J.D. Fortune bio from www.inxs.com
Born 1 September 1973 and recently turning 32, J.D. was born in Mississauga, Ontario Canada and raised in the countryside just outside of Nova Scotia. Relocating to Toronto with his mother and sister as a teenager, J.D. has been on a rollercoaster ride ever since - a journey filled with much more than the normal ups and downs. From leaving high school early to take a job working in Canadian television to a short stint in the Army and alternately fronting a rock band (Juice), moonlighting as an Elvis impersonator and living in his car, J.D. has an abundance of life experience in which to draw from. The body and mind discipline of martial arts keeps him fit and agile, while a strict vegetarian diet adds greatly to his outlook and health.
