Jeremy Robert Myron Sumpter, born on February 5th 1989, was bound to fame from an early age. Originally, Jeremy was born in Monterey, California to Gary and Sandra Sumpter, but later moved to Mount Sterling, where he was raised. Along with his fraternal twin Jessica, Jeremy also has a younger sister, Jennifer (Gigi) and an older brother Travis. When Jeremy was 11 years old, his family moved to Lexington, Kentucky where he participated in a modelling competition. Jeremy earned the honour of being named IMTA's Pre-Teen Male Model of the year. Not long after, the family was moved to Los Angeles where the dream began for young Sumpter. Jeremy began his acting career when he got the role of Young Adam Meiks in the thriller, Frailty, directed by Bill Paxton in 2001. Following this role, Jeremy moved on to two television appearances in Raising Dad and E.R. Then came the role of Skeet Dobson in Local Boys and Henry Starbuck in Just a Dream, both in 2002. Not long after, he was offered his break-out role in Peter Pan, directed by P.J. Hogan in 2003. During the time in which it took to film, Jeremy had a growth spurt in which he grew from 5' to 5' 8"". Due to this, a few alterations had to be made to conform to this growing boy. Sixteen costumes were made of leaves, toad skin and vines. Many of his stunts were performed by himself. Following Peter Pan, Jeremy was given the opportunity to star in a CBS television series, Clubhouse, as Pete Young but it was short-lived as it was cancelled after the first eleven episodes were filmed. However, only the first five episodes were aired on CBS. Later in 2005, HDNET bought all eleven episodes to be aired on their cable channel. We then saw Jeremy growing into more mature roles as he took on the part of Justin Petersen in Cyber Seduction: His Secret Life, a story of a high school swimmer who becomes addicted to internet porn. The filming of The Sasquatch Dumpling Gang, where Jeremy plays Gavin Gore, was completed and was purchased by Sony and has yet to be released. As we anticipate the release of The Sasquatch Dumpling Gang, another film was in the process of being filmed. In An American Crime, a true story of a woman who kept a teenage girl that was continually abused, Jeremy plays the role of Coy Hubbard.
However, despite his fame, Jeremy is just as much of a kid, playing sports such as surfing, basketball, baseball, football, along with many others. He is going into his senior year of high school and is now standing 6 feet. Jeremy is now with Mark Robert Management along with his sisters Jessie and Gigi."
