Jonas co-starred with Kevin Pollak and Liane Balaban in the 2004 feature film Seven Times Lucky (2004), which had its world premiere at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival, screened at the 2004 Toronto International Film Festival, and won the awards for 'Best Feature Film' and 'Best Screenplay' at the 2004 Methodfest Film Festival in Los Angeles and the City TV Award for Best Western Canadian Film at the 2004 Vancouver International Film Festival. Jonas made his feature film debut by co-developing and starring in Sean Garrity's Inertia (2001), which won the City TV Award for Best First Feature Film at the 2001 Toronto International Film Festival and for which he won a Blizzard Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actor.
