Biography: Jonathan Lindsay Penner (born March 5, 1962 in New York City) is an American actor, writer and producer known for starring in Rude Awakening, The Last Supper and the television series The Nanny. Pe...( read more )nner has also guest-starred in Seinfield, CSI, CSI:NY, The Tick, The Naked Truth, Melrose Place, LateLine, Grapevine (television show) Survivor: Cook Islands, and Arrested Development. Penner has appeared in many films, with roles of varying importance. He has also been in Jason Goes to Hell. However his part (David) was cut from the film. Penner was nominated for an Academy Award in 1994 for the short film "Down on the Waterfront" which he co-produced, co-wrote and starred in.
