Joseph Julian Soria mini-bio: Joseph Julian Soria is a California native with roots in Mexico.
Mr. Soria’s films include two recently wrapped features, Celia Fox’ ensemble drama Days of Wrath, with Ricardo Antonio Chavira, Taye Diggs, Laurence Fishburne, and Wilmer Valderrama; and Stewart Wade’s Tru Loved, with Jasmine Guy, Jane Lynch, Bruce Vilanch, and Alec Mapa. He will also soon be seen in two independent features debuting at film festivals, W.K. Chan’s Willie, with Alejandro Patino; and Thymaya Payne’s Coup de Grace, with Walter Perez. Currently, he is at work on Crank 2: High Voltage, which reteams stars Jason Statham and Amy Smart with writer/directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor.
His television credits include guest appearances on Brothers & Sisters, The Shield, CSI: Miami, and Lincoln Heights.
He is also a singer, one who notably performs in Los Angeles clubs, music festivals, and charity concerts. His first CD is due out in the summer of 2008.
Mr. Soria volunteers with Union Rescue Mission and other non-profit organizations, and mentors teens in middle and high schools in urban areas of Los Angeles.
