He has acted alongside Ashton Kutcher in the movie The Butterfly Effect as cellmate Carlos, the chicano that aids him against disgruntled aryans in lock-up. He also had a recurring role as Agent Jay Swopes in the American miniseries remake of Touching Evil as well as small roles in the television shows Without a Trace and The Dead Zone. Kevin appeared in at least two episodes (one of which was a two-parter) of the television show Stargate SG-1 as the goa'uld Zipacna. He also had roles in Walking Tall, Big Momma's House 2, Wild Hogs, Andromeda (TV series), and Smokin' Aces. His latest movies include Otis E. and the remake of "3:10 to Yuma" with Russell Crowe and Christian Bale. Durand is a tall actor, standing at 6' 6" (198 cm).
