Lucy Punch (born 30 December 1977) is an English actress best known in her native country for her role in the television show Doc Martin on ITV and in the United States for her starring role in The Cl...( read more)ass on CBS.
She played Sally Peep in The 10th Kingdom, Hattie in Ella Enchanted, had a supporting role in Istvan Szabo's Being Julia, singleton 'Melanie' in Are You Ready For Love?. Punch also played the naive daughter of Alison Steadman's character in the short lived French and Saunders series, Let Them Eat Cake. She also played the minor roles of Eve Draper in the film Hot Fuzz and Melissa in Midsomer Murders (season 5, episode 1). Punch also appeared in a one off special called Ladies and Gentlemen, a comedy set in the 1800s, she played the role of Alice. Ladies and Gentlemen aired on October 12, 2007 as part of Channel 4's Comedy Showcase. Her most recent roles are Verity Thwaites in the 2007 film, St Trinian's, and Shelly in Kids in America
