M. Night Shyamalan mini-bio: Although he was born in India, Mr. Shyamalan was raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and often uses this setting as a back drop for his films. He is well known for employing a "twist ending" to his movies, as is the case most famously in "The Sixth Sense". At the young age of 8 Mr Shyamalan was given a super-8 camera and began his film making career. He admires Steven Spielberg and Hitchcock, and often cameos in his own movies.

Your movies always start out good...then you try to throw some jacked up twist to it and the movie turn to total crap.

This guy is amazing. I love just about all of his movies, I liked the Sixth Sense, but it scared the crap out of me, I can't ever watch it again, but I love M. Night Shyamalan. I make it a point to watch all of his movies when they come out. And every movie just gets better and better. And he's gorgeous as well.

I think all your movies are perfect not like any body says
they do not make me feel stupid like other fantasy movies I like that you give clues but not solve the mystery through the movie

There are so many jerks here... M. Night Shyamalan is amazing. I just watched The Happening tonight, and I thought it was great. Most of the people I've talked to who do not like his movies are just too stupid to understand them. They say something along the lines of "The end didn't make sense! How could that have happened? That movie sucked." If you are an idiot, I could understand why you wouldn't like his films. Why would you want to watch something that you cannot understand??
