This guy is amazing. I love just about all of his movies, I liked the Sixth Sense, but it scared the crap out of me, I can't ever watch it again, but I love M. Night Shyamalan. I make it a point to watch all of his movies when they come out. And every movie just gets better and better. And he's gorgeous as well.

Terrible filmmaker why this guy has such a following I will never know.

There are so many jerks here... M. Night Shyamalan is amazing. I just watched The Happening tonight, and I thought it was great. Most of the people I've talked to who do not like his movies are just too stupid to understand them. They say something along the lines of "The end didn't make sense! How could that have happened? That movie sucked." If you are an idiot, I could understand why you wouldn't like his films. Why would you want to watch something that you cannot understand??

I hope to God that all the people out there are who are too stupid to understand Shyamalan's movies don't discourage him from making more. The man is a genius, and I don't think he deserves the criticism his movies get.

So do you hear that, Shyamalan? Keep making them because some of us appreciate them!

My family is a big fan of his works since "The Sixth Sense".A perfect combination M.Night & Music composer James Newton Howard makes us to review the movies over & over again.

This guys films re so stupid, I can't even believe it! His characters are shallow, his plots are convenient and he's the worst writer I've come across in a long time. Signs! aliens who are smart enough to get tour planet, whom obviously have superior intelligence, who are repelled by water, but somehow forget their rain coats on a planet 70 percent water! Retarded! God! The last film he wrote, the naked chick in the fucking water shit, was so stupid and full of convenience, there's so many holes in that script, I can't even begin! What a hack! Sixth Sense, basically a ripoff of Jacob's Ladder, and, A Pure Formality... 2 Films so much better than that, paint by numbers, Shymalalama-head's piece of crap. How does this guy keep making money? There must be a lot of idiots out there.

yeah I hate when people call M. a horror director. I always tell them "Hey pay attention he IS NOT a horror director. He is all about the suspence and plot twists. I like his work a lot and will see any move he makes. Oh and another thing that I don't like, the people that compaire him to Hitchock.

All of his movies are works of genius. Here we have a director who knows how to make his characters real, who knows what's going to scare people, who knows what will make people cry. Certainly one of the best directors of our time. His films are never just 'stuff'. They ALWAYS have meaning, they ALWAYS have a moral. After watching a film by Shyamalan, one feels as though a great lesson about life has been learned rather than just a film seen.

I love his movies. Everyone of them is a great mystery to see, then when the movie is over you watch it again and see the clues that you didnt catch before it's incredible! THANK YOU M. NIGHT SHYAMALAN FOR INCREDIBLE MOVIES!!!

M.Night Shyamalan is a genius,his movies are incredible I love his work.I love all of his movies,they have suspense in them yet they really are not that scary,except for Signs,that movie scares the crap out of me,and so does The Village...okay they are scary or at least they are to me.I get scared really easily.:0Ahhhhhhhh

He studied at NYU to train to be a filmmaker and then made "Praying with Anger", a screenplay he wrote fduring those studies. Also, if you go on YOUTUBE, there is a student film with him in it apparantley called "The Guru"

hey i really like this directors work! in the special features for the sixth sense he says that in film school they teach you to be ready for cut you favorite part of the story and he did it in the sixth sense but...... does some one know in what school he studied??... please let me know cuase i really really want to know!!! ill like to study for film director!!!!!!!! xD
