  I was surprised to learn several months back, that he is actually a half (or is it step-) brother to Sean Astin (Samwise Gamgee, in New Line Cenima's LotR, as some of you may know him). It happened one night when my mom was watching Iron Will, and she wondered if he had played in anything since then. When my older sister looked it up, that is when we found out! Well, some might say "Duh! The last name gives it away" I never thought about it. Besides lots of people sometimes have the same last name, doesn't make them related.
  Anyhoo, I am done with my little rant. And am leaving now...
