 Matthew Lillard biography: Matthew Lyn Lillard was born January 24, 1970 is an American actor. He is probably best known for his roles as Stevo in SLC Punk, Shaggy Rogers in the Scooby-Doo film series, and as Stu Macher in Scream. Lillard was born in Lansing, Michigan, and grew up in Tustin, California.After high school, he was hired as an extra for Ghoulies 3: Ghoulies Go to College (1991). He attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena, California, with fellow actor Paul Rudd, and later, the theater school Circle in the Square in New York City.
