Matthew Newton mini-bio: Born in 1977 into a showbusiness family, Matt's parents are Australian TV legends
Patty Newton and morning talk show host Bert Newton, and his sister is a performer
at Universal's studios in Tokyo, Japan. Matthew Newton was always aware that he was
more privileged than some and has taken it to good use in his life. He was always
told that working for something you desire is much more rewarding in life than just
having everything you want served up to you on a silver platter, and for all intents
and purposes he has done just that. He is a rather successful actor internationally,
and he is also very well known in his own home country of Australia as a stage
actor.
