" Mélanie Laurent is a César Awards- winning French actress. Born in Paris, Laurent appeared in 17 films between 1999 and 2008. Her most famous film is probably Je vais bien, ne t´en fais pas (2006). She also directed and wrote De moins en moins (2008), which was nominated for Best Short Film at the 61st Annual Cannes Film Festival.

In 2008 she directed A ses peids, a pornographic short film aired in the french television channel Canal + on October 25 - 26, 2008. She will play the role of Shosanna Dreyfus in the next movie of Quentin Tarantino, Inglorious Basterds."
