- In 1985 Michael co-wrote 'We are the World' with Lionel Richie and sang with a host of famous singers including Diana Ross, Smokey Robinson, Tina Turner, Bette Midler, Billy Joel, Bob Geldorf, Cyndi Lauper, Bruce Springsteen to raise money for Famine in Ethiopia.
- Michael did a duet with sister Janet called 'Scream'. It is the most expensive music video ever at $7 million.
- Slash from Guns n Roses played guitar for Michael's track 'Black or White'.
- Paul McCartney and Michael dueted on two songs 'Say, Say. Say' and 'The Girl is Mine'. In 1985 Michael outbid Paul and paid $47.5 million for the publishing rights to a music catalogue which included 200 Beatles songs. Michael's favourite Beatles' song is 'Come Together' which features on HIStory album.
