I think that Daniel was played by a very talented actor. Not to say that Richard Dean Anderson or Amanda Tapping or Christopher Judge weren't good, but I know my favorite character is Daniel. I watched a marathon that day that it was on, only because he was a part of it. Wish they'd have another season of Stargate SG1, just to see more of his work.

For some reason, Stargate just wasn't all that good when there was no Daniel, he was like the most important character since no one else knew Ancient. Wouldn't want it to be any other way though.

I really hope you do read this michael as i'm that devoted a fan from New Zealand my 13 year old son and i are comeing over to meet you ASAp even if it means cutting down or cost of livewing it be worth it to meet you in real

Just watch his acting range and you'll know he's great! He not only played Daniel on SG1 he also played Thor and then there was those people that possed him in a couple of episodes, so hell yeah he's a great actor! He's cute, too!

me too I Loved SG1. . .I've seen the whole series like 5 times. . .in order that is . . .its my favorite show. . . Danial is what inspired me to persue archaeology. . .I thought everything he knew was cool. . .. especially the egyptology stuff. . .It was awesome

Im so sad, i cant believe they ended SG1 completely, i hope they decide to bring it back with the same characters, i loved that show.

I've been stunt when I watched Stargate (the movie) and I first thought that Stargate SG-1 was pathetic and a dishonnor to the movie, but after I forced myself to watch some episodes, I simply got addicted !

I think that the break Shanks took during season 6 showed how much his character was important in this show even though I liked the character of Jonas Quinn.

Also, I felt a lil jealous to see that he worked with some of the most beautiful women in sci-fi series.. Claudia Black, Morena Baccarin and of course, his wife, Lexa Doig. Good actor and lucky man ! :)
