I never got hurt when I was in Morocco doing all the horse riding and my own stunts. But on the last day on the last shot I slid off my horse and landed on my bottom. I did not get hurt but it was very embarrassing.

| The things I learned from the army - and I think it was a lesson for life - was how to work in unison with other people. How to take responsibility.
It`s a ridiculous thing to say, but truthfully I don`t really like guns. But, I end up playing characters that use a lot of guns.
I think if you play a character that is fearless, then it`s boring. I think that`s what was so incredible about Harrison Ford, is that he always seemed like he was never going to survive it, he`s always scared, and yet he always does survive it somehow.
I did my military service from 1989 - 92 and I was never shot at or had to fire on anybody. I was very lucky. I was more involved in intelligence and counter-intelligence. | | Oded has a strong detest for gun | | Favorite Book: To Kill A Mockingbird | | Favorite Singer: Lauryn Hill | Oded`s Name: "Oded" is a Hebrew name. It appears twice in the bible. It's the name of the father of the prophet Asarja (2Chr 15,1.8), and it's the name of a prophet who lived in the times of king Ahas (2Chr 28,9-11). 1. He (God) has helped 2. encourages His last name's origin is German. It goes back to the German word "Fähre" meaning "ferry". | Oded credits his role on UC: Undercover for helping him break away from playing stereotypicial long haired, Arab speaking characters.
The director of The Mummy had the script rewritten so that Oded's character would survive for the sequel because Oded had such a striking screen presence.
I am from the Atari generation, you know? I used to play Pac-Man® and all that, then kind of grew out of it at a certain point.
I want to do well enough to get some recognition. I would hope to become an actor who is good enough to win Oscars. | | |
